Protests and Politics in Pakistan

LAHORE: Thousands of students on Friday held Students Solidarity March, joined by various social groups including teachers, lawyers, activists, and members of political parties in more than 50 cities across the country.

The students demanded an increase in the higher education budget, better transportation facilities, and services on the campuses, reduced tuition fees, end to harassment of students at the universities, and, above all, a better quality of education. Students were carrying the placards with slogans demanding the restoration of student unions in the country, the foremost demand of the march.

Activist and academic Ammar Ali Jan said that there could be no feeling more beautiful than seeing your students learning what you’ve been teaching them. “These students are acting as responsible citizens. They’re finally raising their voice which was being suppressed for the last 35 years. Support for the march has been expressed by both opposition and the government. However, we believe that tweeting in our support is not enough. The government should give us a time-table for the restoration of the student unions”,

One of the student in her speech said “You divided us. You depoliticised us. You separated us from our Pashtun, Baloch, Seraiki, Kashmiri, and Gilgiti brethren. We reject your politics of divide. We will not do deals in the drawing rooms. We will continue protesting till the student unions are restored”,

ئەوە بۆ 10 ڕۆژ دەچێت کە پرۆتێست لە کۆڵۆمبیا بەردەوامە.  تا ئێستا نقابە و لیژانی گەنجەکان دوو ڕؤژ مانگرتنی گشتییان کردووە و ڕژاونەتە سەر شەقامەکانیش.

هۆکاری پرۆتێستەکان بارگرانی ژیانی زۆرینەی خەڵکی ئەوێیە و لەم دوایەشدا سەرەککۆمار دەیەوێت ڕیفۆرم لە سیستەمی باج و کرێ و خانەنشینیا بکات.  کرێی کاری گەنجان کەمبکاتەوە ، تەمەنی خانەنشینکردن سەرخات هەروەها باجی سەر کۆمپانیاکان کەمبکاتەوە و بەڵام هاوکات باجی سەر موچەی کرێکاران زیاد بکات .

تا ئێستا 4 کەس کوژراوە و زۆرێكیش بریندارکراون .  دەوڵەت داوی دنیشتنیان لەتەکدا دەکات بەڵام نایەوێت تێكڕای داخوازییەکانی گەنجان و نقابە بەجێ بهێنێت.

Im Iran begehren die Menschen seit Monaten immer wieder gegen den Staat auf. Tausende sind auf den Straßen und die Polizei ist bisher nicht in der Lage die Aufstände niederzuschlagen. Täglich werden Protestierende von der Polizei beschossen – wir haben bereits 4000 Verletzte und über 200Todesopfer zu beklagen, während staatliche Medien nur eine Handvoll Todesopfer unter den Demonstrant*innen, sowie den Tod von mindestens vier Mitgliedern der Sicherheitskräfte meldeten.
Staatliche Medien berichteten, dass seit Beginn der Proteste mehr als 7000 Personen verhaftet worden seien. In sozialen Netzwerken berichten Menschen aus dem Iran über die Verhafteten, sie erwartet Folter und die Todesstrafe.
Am 16. November, weniger als einen Tag nach Beginn der Proteste, schalteten die Behörden das Internet fast vollständig ab und verunmöglichen so die Online-Kommunikation für die Menschen im Iran. Damit versuchen die iranischen Behörden zu verhindern, dass Bilder und Videos des Vorgehens der Sicherheitskräfte vonMenschen geteilt werden. Auch Mobilfunknetze wurden abgeschaltet.
Nur jene, die entsprechende Software (VPN) zur Verfügung haben, können noch auf das Internet zugreifen.
Im Libanon wenden sich die Proteste vor allem gegen die staatliche Korruption. Seit dem 17. Oktober protestieren täglich Hunderttausende Libanes*innen. – seit fast 40 Tagen dauern die Proteste an. Das Militär versucht vergeblich die Proteste zu unterdrücken. Mehrere Menschen starben durch Gasgranaten.
Im Irak wendet sich der Protest auch vorallem gegen Korruption. Plätze und und andere Knotenpunkte in Bagdad wurden besetzt. Auch hier schießt die Polizei mit scharfer Munition auf Protestierende.
Seit immer mehr Menschen von der Polizei ermordet werden, nehmen in mehreren Ländern die Proteste an Intensität zu. Auch beziehen sich die Proteste in Iran, Irak und Lebanon aufeinander in Parolen und in den Nachrichten in den sozialen Medien, die verbreitet und geteilt werden.
In Rojava verschärft sich seit dem Beginn der Invasion durch die Türkei die Situation weiter.
Die Staaten der Welt kooperieren ihn ihrem Verrat an der kurdischen Bewegung.
Die einzige Unterstützung, die die Menschen in Rojava und den Ländern des Nahen Osten erfahren, ist die der sozialen Bewegungen. All das ähnelt der Situation der Anarchistischen Revolution in Spanien 1936. Auch die Selbstverwaltung in Rojava hat gezeigt, dass im 21. Jahrhundert während eines Bürger*innenkrieges Alternativen zu Staat, Kapitalismus und Patriarchat aufgebaut werden können.
Unsere globale Zukunft wird daran hängen, ob die Alternativen sich durchsetzen, deshalb verteidigen zahlreiche anarchistische Gefährt*innen die Revolution und Menschen dort.
Ob etwas von der Selbstverwaltung überlebt, wird sich an unserer Unterstützung entscheiden.Wir müssen auch die Profiteure von Regierungen stoppen!
Siemens und Nokia Networks aus München liefert Überwachungsinfrastruktur gegen Oppositionelle.
Die Firma Rohde & Schwarz (es gibt zwei Filialen in Porz) liefert die Schlagstöcke, die gegen die DemonstrantInnen eingesetzt werden und ebenso die in den Gefängnissen eingesetzten Foltergeräte, wie zum Beispiel Elektroschocker.
Es gibt zahllose Waffenlieferungen aus Deutschland: Handfeuerwaffen von der Firma Heckler & Koch aus Oberndorf oder Gasmasken für Tränengasangriffe von der Firma Dräger aus Lübeck.
Was bringen wir hier gemeinsam als wütende Anarchist*innen und
Antinationalist*innen hier wo wir leben an Widerstand und Aufbau von
Alternativen zustande?
Wir, Menschen aus unterschiedlichen politischen und sozialen Zusammenhängen,
aus unterschiedlichen Herkunftsländern, senden unsere solidarischen Grüße mit
der kämpfenden Bevölkerung nicht nur im Nahen Osten, sondern auch in Chile,
Bolivien und weltweit!
Wir rufen alle anarchistischen Gefährt*innen auf, ihre Solidarität mit den

This has always been taught the women like a constant rule, since the ancient times of patriarchy occurred. To our mothers, to their mothers, to the mothers of their mothers… The man scolded the woman right after he came home after working outside whole day. He scolded her, because he got tired all day and he was in a bad mood. Then he expected dinner, he expected care, he expected love, he expected service… he expected, because it was the man working all day long, it was the man bringing money home at the end of month.

And the woman used to wait the man’s coming at home, as she has been taught for centuries. She used to clean the house, she used to cook, she used to iron, she used to look after. She used to, because… She didn’t know as well, really, why was she doing that all?

Because, she was taught so. For years, she has seen the indoor labor had no value, the woman’s duty was serving the man, the indoor violence on secluded women was invisible, man had the right to oppress woman in this system.

Ayşe Doğan was killed when she said “Get it yourself.” instead of giving the salt to the man she was married for 25 years, you see… Later on, the killer guy said; “I’m repentant, I was the victim of my sudden anger.”…

That Ayşe is our riot. That Ayşe is the end of our patience outflowing to the streets, she is the rage of all women who were secluded like Ayşe. We don’t except to be locked in the houses where they use violent, reduced us to servants, oppress, behaving us like we are their property.

The man who waits for service may seclude himself; we choose our freedom!

The Women Defending Their Lives Can’t Be Prisoned, Close the Jails and the “Justice” Palaces!

State; the power owner, it is in power and it tyrannizes the ones it dominates. The history of the states is related to the history of patriarchy, as well as it is related to the history of the injustice that women undergone in society.

Çilem Doğan is just one of the women who knows that the justice of the state is based on injustice, especially when the women are in question, the injustice becomes double. Çilem, whom the state was trying to imprison as she had killed the guy who tried to sell her, threatened her with death tons of times, said that: “I’ve walked a lot in the hallways of this courthouse with a purple face for the protection order. I had no other choice.”

Anyway, whenever the women apply to the state to get rid of the violence they are in, they are exposed to violence again, at each step of the state mechanisms they apply. The so-called “the guarder and keeper, embracer and protector” state, had never been at the side of women. It did not because, a man can kill a woman, he can rape the woman, he can use violence however he wants. But a woman can never resist a man even if he tries to kill her, if he uses violence, she can’t defend her life. If she defends, she is “sentenced”, imprisoned like Çilem. But when a man kills a woman, he gets good time credit by wearing a tie, he gets out of jail in a couple of months. Isn’t this, what the man calls “justice” anyway?

Nevin was imprisoned as she killed the man who raped her for years, you know… At the end of the case which lasted for years, the court decision was declared as; “There is no self-defense” in the justice palace…

You see that Nevin, is our riot. That Nevin is the anger of all women who were imprisoned like Nevin. She’s our hope brimming over the jail walls. We don’t believe in the justice that lets them to “outlaw” and imprison us; rewarding the ones who use violence, and kill us!

We don’t except the imprisoning of the women who defend their lives. The women who killed not to be killed like Name, Çilem and Yasemin, will liberalize by the solidarity of women, not by the justice of the state.

The Women will not be Shut Down in Family, May the Ministery of Family and Social Policies be Shut Down!

The family is a value for man to strengthen his power, while it is a cell for woman where she is obliged to obey the man’s power. The subject is the woman whose ancestry connects to the man’s, who is forced to come into man’s possession, and who has to hold her horses to provide continuance of the family by marriage. It is the woman again who has to be a good mom to the kids, a good wife to the man, the “purity” of the family. But they call the man as “bread winner”. He wears the trousers and he is the rule maker in family, he is responsible for the purity of the family.

And the ministry of family and social policies, tells us, the women; “Marry and start a family, then we will decide your position in society under the roof of family.” as it befits its name. In other words, the state says “I can protect your interests only within the family.”, while conditioning women to marry and start a family by disregarding their selfness. Not only the amount of the children we will have, but also how should we behave as a woman is its matter as well.

You know Güllü, who was burnt at the stake by the guy she was married to… Güllü, who held on to life for 12 days along in the hospital where she was taken to, then we lost her…

So then, that Güllü is our riot. That Güllü is the anger we feel, after the women who are burnt at the stake. Güllü is our belief which will demolish the ministries of the state.

We are not obliged to serve the family which is a foundation to ensure the manhood’s continuity. We don’t except to be secluded in the family which turns patriarchy into a doctrine that holds women childminder and liable to their homes!

Our best response will be to shut down the ministry of family and social policies, which prevents the divorcements instead of homicides, always guarantees the man while abandoning the woman to violence and torture, paving the way for massacres.

May the Media Cannels Shut Down, They Make the Woman Invisible with the Misogynist Discourses!

Shut down the media channels that maintain the manhood’s existence on man’s side! Leave your news language which shows the women helpless and the men as system watchers on the news that media presents.

According to the news, we are being attacked because of our skirts or lipstick we wear. We are being killed, and according to the news, the men are either the victim of a sudden anger or aggrieved by divorcement. They want us just to be silent and watch, so just to be watcher and accept the discourse “That’s normal”. They want us only to wait by the fear of “when will be my turn”, making the eyes blind and the ears deaf. They want us to bear the growing fear even we know we will be under pressure, as it puts too much stress on us.

We become indispensable for the brands, advertisements when 8th March is upcoming. When we get out for action on 8th March, we are announced as “marginals” on headlines, and “victims” on third page news on 9th March.

It is we are again whom the party leaders insult by saying “I can’t know whether she is a woman or a girl.”; target by saying “Women and Men live together.” on the rostrum.

Keep beck the cameras that had greedily presented a libelous videotape named “Last Minutes Before She Died” about Şule Çet, who was tortured sexually in a plaza in Ankara and was killed by being thrown out of the 20th floor of plaza on the date of May 28th, and are chasing the clamors, sorrows instead of the press briefings during women cases.

Just before she was killed, Hande Kader told cameras; “You tape but you don’t air!”, you know… So, that Hande is our riot. That Hande is our anger that cameras had never taped and televisions had never aired!

Shut down all the media channels which cover the violence women face, raising the misogynism!

Sedition, Jealousy, Purity… Man has Many Excuses for Violence, Women Willnot Cover Their Body!

Woman’s body is prohibited for herself. Woman was advised to cover herself by both the order of religion, and the oppression of patriarchal society. In fact, the man exhibited his body everywhere. They say, “the property is in the square” for man. What is covered for woman, is uncovered for the man.

The shorts woman wear, is an excuse for the male violence. In this patriarchal system which doesn’t allow woman even how to wear, rape became “destiny” for the woman who uncovers her body.

Woman is subjected to torture through the rituals applied to the woman’s body, in the societies the patriarchy continued. The woman is ashamed of her body due to female circumcision, feed force, isolation.

That can’t be like this, that can’t go on like this for women. Each dress they put on us, each hand reaching our body by using our cloths as an excuse, each policy via our body, detaches us from our body we are in; we become imprisoned, blocked in our bodies.

There was Melisa, who was exposed to violence because of her shorts you know… The guy who attacked Melisa, he attacked her by saying; “Are you not ashamed of wearing this in Ramadan?”… That Melisa is our riot. That Melisa is the anger of any woman whose body is forced to cover like Melisa. It is the power for us to shiver the patriarchy.

We the women, will not be ashamed of our bodies, we will not hide our bodies by worrying not to let anyone to see. We won’t be covered by the men’s values, aggressions, mentality!

The Women Willnot Be Locked! The Patriarchy, The State and The Capitalism Will be Demolished!

Our comrade Emma Goldman used to say; “… there can be good demands but real emancipation begins neither in the ballot box or in court; it begins in woman spirit.” She believed that the women’s liberation could only be gained by the struggle of women and she knew the state would not set the women free. Emma trusted women would get their freedom by force form the state. We also don’t demand anything from the state. We see the patriarchy penetrated in the roots of the state and we want to annihilate it. We call all the women to get organized, struggle, and get our freedom by getting out of our cells we are locked in and outflow to the streets on November 25th, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.

What can we learn from the recent protests?

This year we have witnessed many protests in the UK and other countries from Yellow Vests in France, protests in Iran, Morocco, Sudan, Extinction Rebellion in more than 120 countries, Haiti, Hong Kong, Ecuador, Chile, Greece, and now in Catalonia, Bolivia, Iraq and Lebanon.

All of these protests have been mass movements against widespread corruption, high unemployment, poor public services, increasing taxation, inequality, injustice and tyranny. Some of the protests, like Hong Kong, Catalonia and Bolivia, are a mixture of political and social demands.

In addition to the above, all of these protests share four things between them. First, almost all of them were mass movements that were leaderless and had no political parties or politicians behind them. Second, they all used direct action to achieve their demands. Third, they all shared a common enemy, the government. All of these governments reacted the same way, no matter whether they were a democracy, a dictatorship, a military or civilian power. They all responded in the same way against the protesters. They repressed them brutally, killing them, wounding them, detaining them and abducting them. Fourth, they have more or less succeeded in meeting many of their demands. In Sudan they brought down the military government and had some of their demands met. In Hong Kong they forced the administration to abandon the extradition policy. In France the movement has shaken the government, who have acknowledged that people are very unhappy with the new government and the protests are far from ending. In Catalonia, protests are still going on and the Spanish government currently has a big dilemma regarding them. This was one of the factors in Spain having another election on the 10th of November. In Chile the achievements exceeded the expectations of the people themselves. In Ecuador, protests forced the government to relocate to another city. In Lebanon, protests led to the resignation of the prime minster and a few MP’s. It shook the power of Hezbollah while over 1.5 million people of a population of 4 million went to the streets, sending a strong message to the government and Hezbollah that they cannot kill and terrorize the mass movement. In Bolivia, protests forced the president, Evo Morales, to resign over disputed election results.

In Iraq, a big social movement is going on. This is the biggest protest in recent Iraqi history. It is an uprising, it is a revolution. People forced the tribes and religious rulers to agree to all of their demands, except leaving their power completely and surrendering themselves to the people. The protest started on the 1st of October for a week, and then resumed in Baghdad on a larger scale on 25th of October, and quickly spread to twelve more cities. This time the protest is very much different from what happened before. Women have joined the mass movement for the first time ever. They are doctors and medical students, helping treat the injured. Some of them are also fighting the police and security forces with the men, others are busy providing meals and drinks and many more are helping clean the streets.

The protesters’ plans and tactics are different from before. This time they are very well organised on the streets, in Tahrir Square in Baghdad and in other places and neighbourhoods. An old Turkish restaurant of 14 floors that was abandoned a long time ago has been occupied. This building has been used by the Special Forces in previous protests to kill protesters using snipers. The protesters use the building to stay overnight, cooking, distributing food and drink, holding regular meetings and issuing a newsletter. The previous protests have taught the protesters that they need to wear helmets in order to protect themselves against attacks. Over 500 Tuk-Tuks have joined the protesters to help them move the protesters around, and in the absence of ambulances to transfer the wounded and dead.

More importantly, the protesters have been supported by most unions and workers. Some of the oil field workers have went on strike to support them. Each union is represented with their banners and tents in Tahrir Square. More than 10 teams of doctors and nurses equipped with medicine and equipment are at Tahrir Square to treat the wounded. Workplaces, schools and universities have been shut and over sixty major roads in Baghdad have been occupied, preventing the police and security forces from going through.

The protesters have rejected the religious politicians and their parties, burning down their offices and military headquarters. In Karbala, the second most important Shia city, on the 3rd of November, the Iranian Consulate was surrounded, part of it set on fire and they were asked to leave Iraq. In some cities, politicians’ empty houses which were guarded by security forces were burned down. Some cities have come under the control of the protesters once the government’s forces have left. Recently, the protesters occupied the road between Basra and the main port of Iraq, Umm Qasr. The protesters have radical slogans like, “No to Iran, no to US, no to religion, no to politicians and their power, no to tribal rule, separate religion from the state, no trust and faith in the politicians, sixteen years in power, enough, we do not trust you .. From Iraq to Lebanon is one war. ..Out Out all of you out”.

So far 319 protesters have been killed, 15,000 more have been injured, 11,000 arrested and many abducted, including women activists. People have paid a heavy price and do not want to leave and go home. It is very difficult at the moment to predict what will happen in Iraq. There is the probability of the Iranian regime intervening directly. If they do, they will not hesitate to crush the movement brutally to save their own and their agents’ interests in Iraq.

It is quite clear that there is no smoke without fire. The system through its main pillar, the state, has created a terrible climate for growing the seeds of demonstrations, protests and riots everywhere. These include destroying the environment, creating war, unemployment, inequality injustice, lack of freedom, deprivation, starvation, discrimination and, finally, racism and fascism.

In fact we should be surprised if we do not see protests, actions and even riots very often.

The protests, whether they are for a single issue or against the state or the entire system, are legitimate; a step forward in developing our struggles. These kinds of struggle are the base and foundation for future revolutions. Certainly those of us who are involved in the protests are more conscious and concerned about our rights and are desperate to change the situation, than the others who are silent.

Standing up for our rights and doing something positive serves our cause and rejects the inaction of the majority who are doing nothing. By protesting, demonstrating and using direct action as our only and decisive tactic has shown that most of the time we can achieve something, whether it is small or large. But, more importantly, we are making the state and the system aware that the people are angry and anxious for a change for the better.

However, there are weaknesses in most of these protests. We have seen almost no support or solidarity from the workers in industrialised sectors especially in Europe when hit by waves of protest. This attitude is ironic when a century ago it was expected that socialism could be built due to developing industrialisation and consequent polarisation of the working class in some parts of Europe. Alas, that did not happen and, a century later, still we do not see crucial support from them. There are other weaknesses. We can clearly see that there is a lack of self-organisation, before, during and after the protests. In these circumstances, we need to organise ourselves in the streets, workplaces, schools, universities, neighbourhoods and other places, establishing assemblies to plan our actions and next steps and which are inter-connected, facilitating the necessary cooperation to fulfil our goals.

Concentrating on a single issue isolates the movement from other issues and the roots of the problem; the state and the system. This is the weak point in the protests. This is what the system and the state want to see from us; division with each group working only for themselves and failing to connect with one another. These problems are apparent in most of the demonstrations and protests. Unfortunately, the protests can be easily controlled and contained by the state and governments in Europe and by terrorist groups in the Middle East.

Fighting to resolve the problems in society without fighting the system and its major pillar, the state, and changing it has led many to believe that by changing the government all problems can be resolved.

It is either naivety or simply ignorance to believe that the government works in the interests of the community and society. This truth is particularly obvious for those of us who, throughout our lives, have seen many governments come and go whether through elections, or a coup d’états. While the problems may have been resolved temporary but after a while they will come back. I believe the reasons for this mistaken belief is that either people are demoralised and have no confidence in themselves or simply lack knowledge of history and relevant experience. Without this knowledge, people believe that the root of all these problems are not the state, but the government. Environmental issues, homelessness, unemployment and war; all have been caused by governments and states. They are the actual problem rather than the solution.

To learn from the protests we need to consider the above weakness and also to see the current capitalism system with its liberal and neoliberal polices is the roots of all the problems. We should know that in order to get rid of all the problems once and forever we must fight the system as whole.

در پی انفجار اجتماعی در شیلی، فدراسیون آنارشیست سانتیاگو اعلام می‌کند:

 

1 – شکاف‌هایی که نئولیبرالیسم ایجاد کرده است هر دم گسترده‌تر می‌شوند. دولت غافلگیر و اعتراضات در سراسر شیلی جاری شده است.(*) آنها نه فقط در سانتیاگو که در خیابان‌های سراسر کشور سازماندهی می‌شوند.

عزم طبقاتی ما در این رویداد تاریخی، علیرغم موانع، روزبه‌روز محکم‌تر و تعدادمان بیش‌تر می‌شود.  مردم به ممنوعیت تردد وقعی نمی‌گذارند و به مبارزات شکوهمند خود ادامه می‌دهند.

2 –سرکوب وحشیانه پاسخ تاکنونی دولت بوده است. ده هزار نظامی برای اعمال تروریسم دولتی در محله‌ها و خیابان‌ها جولان می‌دهند. تانک‌ها و هلیکوپترهای جنگی برای ترساندن مردم به حرکت درآمده‌اند.

بسیج گسترده پلیس و ارتش تاکنون منجر به دستگیری 1700، جراحت 250 و مرگ 15 نفر شده است. دولت مسئولیت سرکوب را با ممنوعیت انتشار نام این افراد رد می‌کند. ده‌ها نفر ناپدید شده‌اند، عده‌ای شکنجه و به برخی تجاوز شده است. مسلم است که دولت و مزدورانش مسئول این سرکوب‌ها هستند.

3 – ما به مردم معترض هشدار می‌دهیم که فریب دولت و رسانه‌های بورژوای در خدمتش را نخورند، زیرا آنها می‌گویند که نخست باید از هرج و مرج کنونی جلوگیری کرد و سپس یک «قرارداد اجتماعی» نوشت.

رسانه‌های بورژوایی ساعت‌ها تصاویر دست‌چین شده و مصاحبه باب دندان دولت نشان می‌دهند تا القا کنند که در شیلی یک فاجعه طبیعی رخ داده است. آنها دولت را به داشتن «روحیه ملی» دعوت می‌کنند. این فاجعه طبیعی نیست، بلکه فاجعه‌ای‌ست که سرمایه‌داری و پدرسالاری به وجود آورده‌اند.

ما همچنین یادآوری می‌کنیم که نباید به فراخوان‌هایی که خواستار تظاهرات با لباس تیم ملی فوتبال شده‌اند، توجه کرد. چند سال پیش راست افراطی برزیل از همین روش بهره برد تا با تحریک روحیات ملی‌گرایانه سوار موج نارضایتی‌های گسترده اجتماعی شود و از آن برای پرتاب خود به قدرت سوءاستفاده کند. نباید فاشیسم را تقویت کرد.

4 – ما فرصت‌طلبی احزاب سیاسی‌ای را که مدعی نمایندگی مبارزات مردم هستند، طرد می‌کنیم. آنها همچون انگل‌هایی هستند که می‌خواهند از خون بر زمین ریخته شده‌ی فرودستان بهره ببرند تا برای نگهبانی از منافع پَست خود به قدرت برسند. این در حالی‌ست که این احزاب می‌بینند در محله‌ها و مجمع‌های عمومی که تشکیل می‌شوند جایی ندارند. آنها می‌دانند که در جهان نویی که در حال تولد است فضایی برایشان نیست. هر آن چه این احزاب می‌خواهند در حال ریخته شدن به زباله‌دان تاریخ است.

5 – ما به ادامه اعتراضات و مبارزات در همه خیابان‌ها و مناطق فراخوان می‌دهیم. اکنون بیش از همیشه ضرورت دارد که مجامع عمومی در همه مناطق تشکیل شوند تا درباره خودمدیریتی گفت‌وگو شود. این مجامع با دیدگاهی طبقاتی، اکولوژیست و ضدپدرسالاری خودسازماندهی فرودستان را در دستور کار خود می‌گذارند تا راه‌حل‌هایی برای مسائل عاجل و بلندمدت جست‌وجو شوند. ما باید جوامع سازماندهی‌شده را در هر گوشه تشکیل دهیم و کنترل تمام مناطق را به دست بگیریم تا بتوانیم به سوی رهایی کامل گام برداریم. این رهایی با گرایش به سوی مفرهایی همچون تشکیل مجلس مؤسسان یا راه‌کارهایی این چنینی که دمکراسی بورژوایی را تقویت می‌کنند، ممکن نیست.

6 – نکته مهم دیگر لحظه کنونی این است که همه بخش‌های جامعه که درگیر مبارزه هستند و نماینده بخش‌های مختلفش، یک پلاتفرم هماهنگ‌شده مطالبات را تشکیل دهند که بازتاب‌دهنده مسائل باشد. پایان نظم موجود ساده نیست، اما یک رشته مطالبه باید فوراً مطرح شوند: باید بر قانون آب و AFP (صندوق بازنشستگی خصوصی – توضیح مترجم) پایان داد؛ ساعات کار کاهش یابند؛ حمل و نقل عمومی اجتماعی شود؛ حقوق حداقل افزایش پیدا کند؛ پیمان‌کاری برچیده شود؛ حق مسکن مناسب برای همه رسمیت پذیرد؛ سقط جنین قانونی شود و زنان به تمام مراقبت‌های پزشکی دسترسی داشته باشند؛ تمام قروض تحصیلی ملغا شوند؛ بهای آب و برق و گاز کم شود؛ پروژه‌های حفاری متوقف شوند؛ تمام لوایحی که بورژوازی برای بسط نئولیبرالیسم در دستور کار دارد باید فوراً متوقف شوند (قانون TPP – 11، قانون اینتگراسیون اجتماعی، قانون یخچال‌ها [جنوب شیلی به قطب متصل است.]، قانون کنترل شناسایی جوانان، قانون بازنشستگی‌ها، قانون مالیات و عوارض بر جاده آب، لغو قانون «کلاس‌های درس امن»، قانون ضدتروریسم، قانون جوانان کارگر، قانون مهاجران، قانون ذخایر مس و قانون کار.)

ما در پایان خواهان آزادی تمامی زندانیان سیاسی،  برداشتن وضعیت اضطراری، خروج نظامیان و مأموران پلیس از خیابان‌ها، خاتمه خشونت‌های سیاسی و تجاوزهای جنسی و توقف اجرای قانون امنیت داخلی دولت هستیم. با یک اعتصاب عمومی و بسیج خیابانی این مطالبات به پیش رانده خواهند شد.
